Wellness, Connection & Reflection
I’m still pinching myself that out speaker at Dine With Joy was this incredible powerhouse of a woman. In perfect serendipity, when I met Beriah Chandoo to start organizing our dinner at Cedar Rock Wellness, she instantly knew her friend Laura would be the most perfect speaker.
Not only is she a business owner (@shesummitsforum) but she’s a partner, a beautiful, supportive friend and Mom too.
Laura commanded the room in the most inspiring, feminine, confident way and even in just sharing one evening with her, I know that myself and all of the guests learned so much.
Laura asked us to look for glimmers of joy in our everyday lives and so frequently I receive messages of joy from guests who have spotted a tiny sparkle in what would have been a mundane moment; queueing at the grocery store and sharing smiles with a stranger, waiting in a traffic jam and noticing the words of a song, a glimmer of sunshine hitting the bubbles as they stand at the sink. The experience of an evening at Dine Wilder continues to live on so much longer than the actual dinner and is a huge part of its magic.
