Dine In Adventure - Long Table Dinner

✨ Date/Time: Tuesday May 13, 6:30 - 9:30pm
📍 Location: Valhalla Pure Outfitters - Unit 805 - 1200 Hunter Place, Squamish

There’s a seat at the table with your name on it.

This dinner is a celebration - of Women, Wilderness, and Wellness and what better place to gather than beneath the kayaks and canoes suspended from the ceiling of Squamish’s most beloved outdoor store, Valhalla. Surrounded by symbols of movement and exploration, we’ll dine, connect, and honour the spirit of adventure in us all.

Clare from Fierce Fuel is thoughtfully curating a 4-course menu rooted in intention and seasonal abundance. Every dish is a love letter to nourishment, and every dietary preference will be warmly and fully accommodated.

Menu One:

  • Starter: Spring tomato gazpacho, compressed watermelon, basil oil

  • Main: Salmon mosaic, pea + dill puree, pickled cucumber + radish, roasted fingerling potatoes

  • Dessert: Lemon and elderflower cheesecake

Menu Two:

  • Starter: Spring tomato gazpacho, compressed watermelon, basil oil

  • Main: Marinated tomato poke, pea + dill puree, roasted fingerling potatoes, pickled cucumber and radish

  • Dessert: Lemon and elderflower cheesecake

Our Guest Speaker Bronwyn Hodgins is a professional climber, filmmaker, and advocate. She's renowned for her groundbreaking achievements in the climbing world, including being the first Canadian woman to free climb El Capitan in Yosemite via the Freerider route in 2018. In 2021, she became the third woman ever to free climb the Golden Gate route on El Capitan, solidifying her status as a trailblazer in the sport.

Beyond her climbing feats, Bronwyn has led remote big wall expeditions in challenging terrains such as Baffin Island and Greenland. In 2022, she and her team established new routes on sea cliffs in Greenland, accessed by a 400 km sea kayak journey along the Arctic coastline. Her passion for adventure and storytelling is also evident in her film work, including the acclaimed "Ocean to Asgard," which chronicles her team's journey in Baffin Island.

As an ACMG-certified rock guide, Bronwyn dedicates part of her year to guiding and instructing in Squamish, sharing her expertise and inspiring others to embrace the wild.

As always, the talented Gabriela Le Photography will be quietly weaving through the evening, capturing the golden glances, full glasses, shared laughter, and quiet pauses in between.

Dress code: Backcountry Cocktail
Our dress code is always meant to be playful, to add some intentionality as we step out of the door, to make us pause and carefully choose an outfit that we feel evokes the theme of the evening - this time, think whatever adventure elegance means to you.

Come for the food, stay for the stories, and leave with your heart a little more full.

Space is limited.
Your seat awaits.
